We designed and delivered a full-stack branchless banking platform that enables customers to perform core banking transactions entirely through mobile and agent networks.
The Challenge
In Nepal, over 40% of adults remain unbanked — not by choice, but by geography. Physical bank branches are concentrated in urban centers. For families in remote hill districts, the nearest branch could be a full day's travel.
Core Offerings
A complete branchless banking platform composed of four integrated layers.
Agent Network Application
A lightweight Android app for trained banking agents (shopkeepers, local entrepreneurs) that allows them to act as human ATMs (onboarding, deposits, withdrawals).
Customer-Facing Mobile App
A clean, accessible application allowing end-customers to check balances, transfer funds, and pay utility bills.
Backend Core Banking Integration
A robust middleware layer connecting the mobile apps to the bank's existing core banking system (CBS) via secure APIs.
Admin & Compliance Dashboard
A web dashboard for bank operations teams enabling agent monitoring and regulatory reporting.
